Cornwall, Jr., USN Captain Cornwall WaS bdrn On 25 June 1921 in Washington, D.C. and entered the Naval service in June 1939 as a member of the Reserve training unit in Washington, D.C. In -June 1940 Captain Cornwall entered the United States Naval Academy and graduated with the class of 1944 in June 1943. Captain Cornwall's. next six years were Snent at sea onboard USS THORN IDD-647l, USS JOSEPH P. KENNEDY, JR. IDD-85Ol, USS COMPTON CDD-7057 and USS FITCH IDMS-257. '- In February 1949 he was ordered as an instructor to the Ordnance and Gunnery Department at the United States Naval Academy serving there until June 1951. At this time Captain Cornwall assumed duties as Commanding Officer, USS PURSUIT IAGS-171. From December 1952 until September 1955 he was attached to the Bureau of Naval Personnel as Assistant Ltjg. and Ensign Detail Officer. In September 1955 Captain Cornwall was ordered tO the Armed Forces Staff Cdllage in Norfolk, Virginia as a student. In February 1956 he assumed duties as Corn- manding Officer of USS SNYDER CDE-745l until February 1958. After leaving SNYDER he again reported to the Bureau of Naval Personnel for duty as the Head of the Policy Control Branch until January 1961. In February 1961 Canfain Cdrnwall reported aboard USS LYN DE MC CO RMICK IDDG-87 as Prospective Command- 5n9 Officer- After her C0n1rnlSSi0ninQ in June 1961 he served as Commanding Officer until April 1963. From May 1963 until June 1964 Captain Cornwall was attached to the Joint Staff, JCS Personnel Directorate and was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal for this duty. After leaving the Joint Staff in June 1964 he attended the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in Washington, D.C. until assuming duties as Commander Destro er Squad- Y ron TWENTY-TWO on 11 July 1966. Captain Cornwall is married to the former Jean Hallock of Shady Side, Maryland, they have three children: tWO sons, 21 and 17, and one daughter of 12 years.

Dommanderbestre er quadren Twenty- wa Nov. '67 - Present N, jg, Captain W. B. Morrow, USN Caliltain Morrow was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on 16 lVlay 1920. After a year in the Naval Reserve he entered the Naval Academy in June 1938 and graduated with the class of 1942 on 19 December 1941. During World War II he served as Gunnery Officer aboard USS MOFFETT CDD-3621 and as Gunnery Officer and Executive Officer, USS STRONG CDD-7581. Later he had a two year tour as an instructor at the NROTC Unit, College of Holy Cross. He-then served aboard USS ERESNO CCLAA-171 as Operations Officer and in USS lVlACON CCA-132l as Gunnery Officer before reporting to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations in 1950 for two years. In December 1952 Captain Morrow reported to the Staff, Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Fleet and served a ZV2 year tour. After that he attended the Naval War College in Newport, R.I. He then served as Commanding Officer, USS MEREDITH CDD-890l from July 1956 to June 1958. Captain Morrow spent the following year as Operations Officer on the Staff of COMCRUDESPLOT FOUR with additional duties as Project Mercury plans and Operations Officer. From August 1959 to July 1961 he served as Destroyer Placement Officer in the Bureau of Naval Personnel. In August 1961 Captain lvlorrow assumed command of Destroyer Division 152 where he remained until April 1962. After a short period as COIVIDESDIV 12 with duties as CONIDESRON ONE, he reported to COMCRUDESFLQT TH REE in July 1962 as Chief of Staff. In September 1963, Captain llllorrow commenced an assignment as Command- ing Officer USS ERONTIERCAD 251 A year later he attended the National War College In July 1965 he reported to the Joint Chiefs of Staff where he served as Chief Europeanflvliddle East Division of the Operations Directorate until he relieved as Commander Destroyer Squadron TWEN TY TWO on 10 November 1967 Captain Morrow is married to the former Nancy Gosnell of Severna Park Maryland They have a daughter and a son who attend Old Dominion College and Bucknell University 1 ' .L 6 5 I u n I ' ' I 1 l l 6 .
