OVQWVOV The fabled Aladdin was given a magic lamp by a magician. Al- though he was at first ignorant ol its value, the lad discovered that by rubbing the lamp he could always summon the good genie, who would fulfill his wishes. Thereal'ter. with the aid of this genie, Alad- din was able to surmount every obstacle that confronted him and to secure. ultimately. happiness and power. livery DuSable student is an Aladdin. He has at his disposal a price- less lamp. the Lamp ol' Knowledge. Nllhen summoned the genie called Know-How will appear and grant his every desire. The principal and the administrative assistants are the magicians who provide the magic lamp lor whoever has learned its value. The teachers are guardians ol the Lamp of Knowledge. They acquaint Aladdin with the genie of Know-How. By rubbing the lamp, or diligently applying his efforts, the DuSablite calls lorth the magic ol' the lamp and with the assistance ol Know-How the present-day Aladdin achieves happiness and power. 'l'his Aladdin is you, DuSablite. Come with us as we venture into the palace ol boundless possibilities that is DuSable. Here the lamp is lound: the genie emerges when summoned. 4
