Mr. Douglas has many efficient helpers in his first year as dean. Shown above do- ing typing and general office work are Nancy Meadows, Carole Berrier, Judy Stevens, Becky Rhea, and Mitzie Whitten. Occupying a new position at DuPont this year is MR. HARRY DOUGLAS, dean of boys. After spending eighteen years as coach at DuPont, Mr. Douglas has become a well qualified and experienced man in dealing with boys and their problems. Deans of Dupont Perform Various Duties sg Our dean of girls, MRS. VIOLET CAMPBELL, seated behind the desk that almost every girl at DuPont has stood before, at one time or another, for advice and guidance. Through her many years as dean, she has earned the respect of hundreds of girls who look to her as a friend and counselor, Who can help in solving their everyday problems. These are some of the girls who assist Mrs. Campbell by running errands, answering the telephone, writing tardy and absence excuses, and helping new students to enroll. They are Stella Durham, Barbara Asher, Thelma Eggleston, Glenna Ambrose, and Kathy Runyon. 10
