Du Pont High School has an enrollment of 744 students. lt is a six-year secondary school which includes students from the seventh grade through the twelfth. There are varied activities to meet the needs of the boys and girls of the different ages. There is also an earnest en- deavor to see that each student becomes a member of some club in which he is particu- larly interested. We are proud to say that all groups have been happy and satisfied workers during this first year of our existence. R. J. GORMAN County Supervisor of High Schools VIRGIL L. FLINN County Superintendent of Schools Our county schools are governed by a board of five members who are elected by the people for a four-year term. They appoint a county superintendent and six assistants. The teachers are also appointed by this board from a list recommended by the county superintendent. ll
