During her junior and senior years she was a cheerleader. She belonged to dramatics club, broadcasters, and 'liri-Hi-Y, In her senior year she was a member of the student council, and she was secretary for Klr. Kagy. Connie plans to follow business education. William Miknis ACADt5MtC Bill, a vet'satile halfback on the football team for three years, was an energetic defensive player. Student Council topped his service activities, while Hi Varieties spotlighted him as a comedian. .Xmong other hobbies, Bill was very proficient in tying Hies in hunting and fishing Club. Bill's plans include college or the armed service. M3filYn Miles Bcsixtiss Eoccattox With her appealing personality and attractive appearance, Mimi is very well-liked. She was public relations Chairman of the student council her senior year. .X varsitv cheer- leader, she belonged to 'l'ri-Hi-Y and, her senior vear, she sang with the ensemble. She was a secretary for Nlr. Kagv. Arman Miller ,XCAUILMIC Arman, sometimes known as Nleatball, a star end on the football Ittilll. was elected the outstanding IP. H. player of the year. He also was a sliil-ty guard on the basketball team. Stage appearances with the dramatics club high ligh-ted his non-athletic activities. .Xrman's plans for the future are college and the armed service. Clifford luillel' -XC,x.U1..M1C During his three years at ll. ll. S., congenial Cliff was a valued musician in the band, having played clarinet and bass clarinet for three years. Nlodel railroading rates high with this brown-haired chap. Cliff plan: to make the nay v his life's work, or after a hitch in the service he may attend college. ' 20 Don was an energetic football manager in his sophomore and junior years. He also managed the basketball and track teams for one year each. IJonny's main interest is photography, and he served as a member of the pho- tography club for three years. He is considering the armed services for his vocation. Jayne E. Miller ACADEMIC Jayne, quiet but friendly, is the possessor of pretty blue eyes and blonde hair. She played alto saxophone in band for three years. During her senior year she played in Hi Varieties orchestra and the dance band. As a sopho- more she was a member of art club. She is eyeing a college Career. Robert Nicholas Miller ACADEMIC Nick, because of his humorous disposition, has a wide Circle of friends. He participated in football, basketball, and track in his junior year. Nick, having been a member of dramatics club, was noted for his stage appearance, notably in hillbilly roles. His favorite pastime is fishing. NiCk's future plans include college. Roland Miller lNlJl'SlRIAl. .kms Roley, shy and quiet, was well-liked by his classmates at IJ. H. S. He was a two-year member of hunting and fishing Club. Roley, being active in sports, was a three- year member of the track and football teams, having played end on the grid team his senior year. Roley's plans for the future include Stevens 'lirade School. Nila Lee Minns .-XCADI-LMIC Known for her sweetness and eagerness to help others, Nila is always cheerful, always laughing. .-X small, lively brunette, she is also known for her artistic ability. Her favorite class was P. ll. Nila was a member of ticket Club for three years and dramatics club for two years. During her sophomore year she belonged to Chorus.

She was an attendant to Miss D. H. S. her senior year, a member of dramatics club, Tri-Hi-Y, and student council for three years. A Prom Princess candidate, she led the class in Charm School set. Harold Mahlon INut's1a1AL Airrs This quiet and pleasant fellow hails from Bloom Township. At D. H. S. he busied himself with his shop work, his favorite subject. XYorking with radio and TY vie with his interest in hunting and fishing for top recreational pursuits. He belonged to the hunting and fishing club for two years. Harold plans a Career in industry. Earl Magill .-Xcamayiic Earl, the Cvene Krupa of ll. H,,S., superbly highlighted his talent for music with his outstanding showmanship on drums in the Beaver band, pep band, and Hi Yarieties. He was a natural for districts his senior year. As a sophomore he was a crack runner on the track team. Earl hopes to attend the Naval School of Music. Leroy Marshall Bvsixicss linrcariox Leroy was a member of the hunting and fishing club in his sophomore and junior years. His favorite sport is basketball. He played in the outfield on the baseball team for three years. He spent most of his leisure time attending sports events and hunting and fishing. Leroy plans to enter the navy in the near future. Delores Matthews Bt's1Ni2ss Enccarlox Dee, a 'lively little lass, could always be found making someone laugh. She was musically inclined, having been drum major her senior year and a bass trombone player during concert season. Dee was also a member of the ensemble, trio, and octet. She entertained in Hi Yarieties for three years and served as student council secretary her senior year. 0 FP: agill Leroy Marshall Delores Matthews 2 McConnell Carole McDonald Lee McGarvey Jack McCarthy Acro SHOP Tall, slim, and silent is jack. He made the hunting and hshing club his main activity all three yearsebly earnest participation in the club's activities. Jacks hobby is American and foreign made cars, for which he has unusual interest. He hopes to attend trade school or go to machinist school in the air force. Fred McCluskey ACADEMIC This tall, dark-haired lad was a member of the dramatics club, and luinting and hshing club. His athletic ability in track was featured during his sophomore and junior years in distance events. His favorite hobby was custom and sports cars. Fred's future plans include working for a fcvv months and then enlisting in the marines. Walter McConnell Acro Snot Quiet, studious, ambitious, and conscientious are out standing trade-marks of lX'alter. He participated in the activities of the projection club for three years. hhvllflxlllg with automobiles was his favorite pastime. In the near future VValter plans to go to trade school to further his knowledge of auto mechanics. He also expects to serve with the armed forces. Carole McDonald Business l-Invcariox Mac, was a pert little cheerleader who was very active in school life. Carole enjoyed singing, having been a member of the ensemble, trio and girls chorus. She was also a member of student council, Tri-Hi-Y, and broad casters. In her spare time, Carole likes to dance and skate After graduation she plans to enter a business-secretarial college. Lee McGarvey Acaprzmc Lee, better known as Hairy, was the school's great traveler and adventurer. He was an outstanding runner on the track team his sophomore year. With a smile for everyone, Lee was well-known and popular. Cars head his list of hobbies. After graduation Hairy plans to travel or give his services. to the L. S. Navy.

During her sophomore year she belonged to leaders club, dramatics club, and chorus. She was also a member of ticket club. ln her spare time she enjoys swimming and dancing. Bonnie's future plans include marriage. Claudine H. Molnar ACADEMIC CoIIIIie, a curly-haired blonde, was popular among her many friends. She was a member of dramatics club and sextet her sophomore year. She was also a member of girls chorus and ticket club for three years and Tri-Hi-Y one year. Connie enjoys skating and dancing. She plans to attend St. Yincent's School of Nursing in Erie. Marlene Moore BL's1NEss EnL'c.aTIoN A reserved, quiet, and patient person, Marlene, whose strong character will help her to succeed in the world, is very likable. She was on broadcaster staff and Clipper staff for three years. During her senior year she was a member of F. H. .'X. She also entertained in Hi Varieties as a vocal soloist. Walter Mowrey NlACHlNli SHOP Walt is a brown-eyed lad who came to D. H. S. from Washington Township. Conscientious and sincere, Walter took all his studies seriously, especially machine shop, his favorite subject. Hunting and fishing club was his choice of school clubs and outdoor life is his special interest. He expects to farm in the future. David Murdock ACADEMIC Dave was active in the projection and photography clubs, boys chorus, senior octet, Hi Varieties, and dramatics. He was a member of the football and track teams as well as a district wrestling champion. President of his junior home room, he was also student council president, and an escort to Mr. D. H. S. Dave plans to be a doctor. Jim is a dark-haired lad who came from Sandy. He took great interest in the projection club, having been an energetic projectionist for three years. jim was also an asset on the broadcasters staff and the stage crew. He spent two years in photography club. jim has no definite plans for the future. Della Nelson Home XlAKING Although she has a reserved and quiet personality. Della will get along well in the world because of her initiative and her ability to understand people. She was a member of ticket club, girls chorus, and dramatics club. Her spare time is spent roller-skating. She has no definite plans for the future. Hazel Joyce Nelson BL'sINEss l'3IlL'CA'll0N :Xn amiable, hazel-eyed, brown-haired lass, Joyce came to D. H. S. from Sandy in her junior year. XYell-liked, she was a Forum staff writer, a member of the ticket club and girls chorus during her senior year. Her favorite sports include volleyball and hockey. joycc is undecided about future plans. Bill Nimmo Acro SHoI' Bill, an attractive lad with blond hair and blue eyes, is well-liked for his pleasing personality. He was a Inember of the hunting and fishing club for two years. His favorite pastimes include swimming, dancing, and watching foot- ball. Bill, who likes cars, owns his own. He plans to enter the air force. Carol Palmer Bt'sINEss l':Dl'CA'l'ION Carol, a pleasant, hazel-eyed, brown-haired girl, came to us from Beechwoods. For three years she was a very active member of the art club and a writer on the Forum staff for one year. Sewing was one of Carol's favorite hobbies. She would like to get a job in industry. 21 '?
