International tension, the armaments race,' fear of unimaginable destruction, the disturbing rise of inflation, pressures and adjustments within our own society. These are the signs of the confusion and anxiety of tlze times. Democracy's way of life is on trial in our homes, in our schools, in our communities, in all free nations. Democracy is on trial today in the near and far places ofthe eartlz.
