Therefore, many students throughout their high school days are striving to live up to this organ- ization's requirements of scholarship, leader- ship, character, and service. fl This year, twenty-six students from the upper third of the senior class Were chosen by the faculty. These members have the following purpose for their club:-to pour forth the flame of truth, to keep a high ambition for the en- during values of life, to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character. The emblem of this society is the keystone and flaming torch. On it are the letters S. L. C.
