S ocial S tudies SOCIAL STUDIES With the changing and unpredic- table world that we live in today, the Social Studies department tries to give an understandable meaning to current events that happen worldwide. Not only does this department give recent, up-to-date facts, it emphasizes the past and all of the events that took place not only in our country, but throughout the world. The teachers try to stress to the students the mistakes and successes that have happened in the past, in a hope that they will gain an understanding of these historic series in Q order to make the future a bright, S stable world to come.
