YEARBOOK The 1983 NATHANITE has taken on a new look this year. With the help of the advisor, Mrs. Mary Ann Caproni, co-editors, Rosemary Scerbo and Geoffrey Haines, and a dedicated staff, many improvements have been made on the yearbook. The staff has doubled the number of pages produced. All underclassmen have been in- dividually photographed and a sixteen page colored senior section has been added. The procedure for producing pages has also been changed. Members of the staff cut and pasted photos on the lay out sheets. All the headlines and the copy were typeset on Drury's new Compugraphic machine in the graphic arts area. A TIME TO RECORD -:.:-mama: '1i ' Fundraisers for the yearbook have been very successful. On Columbus Day weekend, the staff ran a Toll Booth at the intersec- tion of Union and Eagle Street. This eight hour function raised S1,600. There was also an assembly of all underclassmen to promote the sales of the book. Mary G. Dailey from the class of 1929 was the guest speaker. She stressed the im- portance of purchasing a year- book and how valuable the book would be in the future. This along with a movie on rock music helped to double the sale of books from the previous year. The final fundraiser was the sale of Drury hats which said Go for it Devils . Many thoughts and long hours have been spent on the production of this book which the staff hopes will be a time capsule of memories from the year 1982-1983.
