The Winter Carni- Mval was held to end the Winter Carnival Week, which took place from February 7 through the 13, 1982. The dance floor was decorated in hearts for Val- entinefs Day. It was held to Welcome the Freshmen class into Drury. The theme of the dance was Space Odyssey . The Queen and her court were selected by the seniors. It was the second half of the Super Star Concert. The cast consisted of members of Mixed Choir and of Chorus. The two leading characters were Doug Miller and Kathy Prevey. 20 WEST SIDE TORY West Side Story was held on April lst, 2nd, 3rd, of 1982. It was such a success that an encore performance was held on April 10th. The cast con- sisted of members from Chorus, Mixed Choir, En- semble, and regular students who tried out and made it. The Drury Band played all the back-up music. West Side Story was about two street gangs, the Jets and the Sharks who fought fiercely.
