MUSIC lf you've been involved with the music department, you know the feeling of satisfaction that you get from using your own talents, and combining them with the talents of those around you. The sounds that come from the music department are expressed and absorbed by each individual in a very unique way. The department is made up of loving and understanding people who always seem to have a warm heart and a sympathet- ic ear, just like ma and dad , Everyone holds within them a special musical talent that can germinate and grow without any limitations. The annual super- star concerts are wonderful performances for the public. But more than than, they give the students in the music depart- ment the feeling of being stars, even if they did not have a special part. The Drury art department! T ing but materials, and through their own imaginations and the guidance of the teachers, make something that appeals to the eye. There is an aura here that isn't present anywhere else in the school. The atmosphere is relaxed yet charged with energy. Most of the students that elect art take it because they are interested, not because they need the credits. The students aren't looking furtively at the clock, anxious for the bell to ring.
