MATH Can you take the square root of 264, multiply this by the reciprocal of pie, mul- tiply this by 4x 2 - 8x plus 32.4, reduce this polynomial and take the derivitive of the whole thing? Could you find your prob- ability of getting it correct? If you can't, then boviously you've never run across Drury's math department. They're abso- lutely crazy about this type of thing. Trigonometrically speaking, they will bust their cosines trying to get a message across. lf you're in a geometric daze, don't fret. They can talk in circles of explana- tions. Drury's math department proves to make school most interesting. After all, where else could students be taught by so many independent variables? af as Ronald Smachetti, Chairperson B.S., Oswego State College M.Ed., Albany University Patricia Sacco B.A., North Adams State College B.A. lPhysicsJ, North Adams State College Lorane Ehitcomb B.S., University of Mass.
