HISTQRY What is the capitol of Alabama? The decision of the Miranda v. Arizona case? The author of Future Shock? When was America discovered? If these questions rattle your brain then you haven't been through our social studies department. lt is headed by Miss Margaret Stewart who can help you answer that tough question about World War ll. Under Miss Stewart's a fine corp of teachers like justice Falcon who will tell you anything and everything you wanted to know about the Supreme Court but were afraid to ask. There's also Mr. Wall, who will tell you which way North is and what's on the 38th parallel. Mrs. Rennell will tell you all about Future Shock and it will no doubt shock your future. The social studies department is filled with many interesting topics and also many interesting people. MATH Can you take the square root of 264, multiply this by the reciprocal of pie, mul- tiply this by 4x 2 - 8x plus 32.4, reduce this polynomial and take the derivitive of the whole thing? Could you find your prob- ability of getting it correct? If you can't, then boviously you've never run across Drury's math department. They're abso- lutely crazy about this type of thing. Trigonometrically speaking, they will bust their cosines trying to get a message across. lf you're in a geometric daze, don't fret. They can talk in circles of explana- tions. Drury's math department proves to make school most interesting.
