Homecomm The 1973 Homecoming week was a smashing success with the chairman being Kim Pilot. The week started off with a football game against Taconic. That night a semi-formal dance was held at Greylock school. Susan Casuscelli was chosen queen ofthe event. Sunday night a Halloween party at Notre Dame was sponsored by the Junior class. Mon- day started the beginning of the sign contest. Wednesday Oct. 31, Drury changed their style to that of the Roaring Twenties with the king Andrew Lebawitz, and queen Mary Coakley. Thursday was the judging of the signs, the bleacher bums being victorious. Friday was blue white day. In the afternoon was the Hoosac Valley pep rally with many members ofthe Senior class involved. We even had a visit from one squealing Hoosac cheerleader. That night at 7:00 was the snake dance down main street, the burning ofthe dummy, and the blue white dance afterwards at Has- kins school sponsored by the Varsity cheerleaders. Sat. Nov. 3, was the big moment everyone was waiting for - the Drury Hoosac game, which ended in a loss for Drury. Sun. Nov. 4, was the Powder Puff football game. The seniors, otherwise known as the one and only Janet Berry won the game. That was the close ofa fantastic week.
