Through the study of the development of na- tions, students are equipped with a more complete background to cope with the problems of the modern world. Drury offers courses in Latin, Spanish, French, and ltalian. The goal of the language department is to help students gain a further understanding of foreign countries and their people by learning to read, speak, write and understand their languages.
