Football At Drury 1967-68 During the 67 season, the Drury football team lost key play- ers because of injury and key games because of bad breaks. The tough season was highlighted by victories over St. Joe Pitts- field and Wahconah and brought to a great climax when the Blue Devils, billed as underdogs, came through with a 13-12 victory over Adams, proving that no Drury team stays down for long. Rick Basketball '68 Although our Blue Devils had a very disappointing season, finishing with a 2-16 record, Coach Lamarre was very pleased with the turnout and the per- formance ofthe underclassmen. He expects much from these young boys in the next few years, and we are quite sure that his expectations will be real- ized. The season was climaxed by the highly successful Booster Night Pro- gram in which the Freshmen and Sophomores defeated the Juniors and Se- niors in a most amusing evening. This exciting evening was highlighted by the awarding of the first annual Peter W. Foote Memorial Basketball Award jointly to Gary Nichols and Ralph Belleau. . f f -, s . .
