Second Row: Dr. W. Horn Superintendent R. Taylor, Mr. E. Nassif. Our School Committee is not seen by our students in everyday school life, yet the school could not function without it. Balancing the budget while wrestling with the necessity of securing new equipment for our school, alleviating the problem of overcrowded rooms, securing new teachers, planning new building and expansion programs . . . and the list goes on as the duties of our School Committee members increase from year to year. Realizing that their decisions direct the course of our school, this group holds numerous and lengthy meetings in an effort to give the people of the community the most for their money.
