Noted primarily for her sunny amiability and joviality, she presents a picture with her dark beauty. Is there any wonder Drury is proud of one of its most prominent members? WILLIAM ALLEN SEYMOUR Varsity Baseball 3, 4 Manager ot Football 4 Stamp Club Vice-President 4 Bill - Red - Al - the boy with the bright red hair and the collection of names. With his friendly manner, he has made many pals while at Drury. FRANCIS MICHAEL SINCLITICO Traffic Corps 3, 4 Interclass Basketball 1 Varsity Basketball 2, 3, 4 Literary Club 4 Varsity Football 2, 3, 4 Service Corps 4 Varsity Baseball 2, 3 Victory Corps l Tink, along with his scholastic work, is interested in two things at school-girls and sports. He changes sports with the seasons, and is a three letter man. He has gone to the Maritime Academy to become an officer in the Merchant Marine and here is to his success as an officer. ROBERT CLAYTON SLADE Ski Club 4 Ski Team 4 ' Victory Corps 1 We call him never a dull moment Bob. Have you noticed him? He's always on his way to meet somebody or to do something. Around and around he goes and a busy man is he! He likes skiing so well that-well, he'd have snow all year long. RONALD ARTHUR SPRAGUE Class President 1 Varsity Basketball 2, 3, 4 Class Vice-President 3 Interclass Basketball 1, 2 Student Council Secretary-Treasurer 2 Student Council 1, 2, 3, 4 Class Secretary-Treasurer 2 Victory Corps 1 Service Corps 3, 4 Traffic Corps 4 Calm, cool, reserved, Ronnie has won himself many friends through his fine disposition here at Drury. He has truly been an asset to our class and the school. The boy who has set many a girls' heart a flutter - that's our Ronnie. A. R. discrimination was studied by the Seniors. After a series of debates we decided to withdraw from the annual contest. Jan. 16, 1946-With sharpened pencils, filled pens, and crib notes we bravely faced mid-year exams.

He went nonchalantly through his four years, took everything in his stride, and made many friends. Let's wish Ernie a happy future after these best four years of his life at Drury. MILTON LEWIS SARTORI Student Council 2 First Aid Club 2 Our well-dressed Milt is a very clever fellow. This great sports- man and outdoor-lover has already broken many hearts. We shall no doubt meet him later as a foremost toolmaker. ELEAN OR MAE SANDERS Victory Corps 1 Quiet and shy is this little miss. ,She is friendly and good-natured and has an ever-ready smile for all. Capable and diligent, she stands 3 scholastically high in her class. Her subtle humor combined with I her fine character makes her one of the most well-liked girls at Drury. i 1 I JAY LESLIE STRANGE Band 1, 2, 3, 4 Swing Club 4 Victory Corps l Noted for his jovial manner and sparkling personality, Jay, one of the band's regular mainstays, is always found wherever there is laughter. MARY FRANCES TASSONE Practically everyone knows Mary. She is short, pleasant, neat and friendly. lf you don't know her, don't you wish you did? She is seen at most of the games and is always backing Drury. We may see you around, Mary, but if we don't, good luck in the years to come. SHIRLEY ANN TATRO Class Book Typist 4 Victory Corps 1 Academe Typist 4 Skating Club 4 Blue eyes, short dark hair and a pleasing smile with lots of dimples -that's Shirley. Her ability as a Drum Majorette has won her much fame at Drury. She's quiet, but lots of fun when you get to know her. MARY CLAIRE TAYLOR Glee Club 3 Interclass Basketball 1, 2, 3 N Drivers' Club 4 First Aid Club 2 Prompter of Class Play 4 Bowling Club l 1 1 1 1 I Here she comes, the girl with the beautiful blue eyes. Cla1re's usually seen with a glint in her eye, a smile on her lips and some- thing up her sleeve! She'll certainly be missed about Drury. Jan. 21, 1946-Two of our prominent teachers, Mr. james M. Chambers and Mr. Harry Pratt retired from the teaching profession. Feb. 20 and 21, 1946-Our Senior actors and actresses mzule their debut in One Mail Night which was a great success.
