He has been a hard worker all through his four years at Drury, and his perseverance should mark success for him. A lovely smile and a hearty laugh make her even friendlier. Added to these gifts of nature, we find our O'Brien a good student and hard worker. JOAN LOUISE O'HEARN Glee Club 3 Choir 4 Victory Corps 1 Tall, cute, with a sophisticated air, that's our joan. This pretty Irish lass is an ardent basketball fan. Here's to our Baby and more power to her. Marguerite is definitely heading for success in the business world. If you're looking for an all around man with athletic ability and who is an excellent musician, and extremely witty, see Louis. BERTHA ELIN OR PEDERCINI Bowling Club 2 Cheerleader 2, 3, 4 Here is proof that good things come in small packages. Lots of friends, a swell cheerleader, witty, and bubbling over with moron jokes, that's our Bert. She has made our stay at Drury a pleasant one. April 12 1945 We lost a great leader and friend, Franklin Delano Roosevelt. May 12 1945 V E Day at last! The exit through windows by Drury students caused headlines in the newspapers and excitement in the hearts of teachers. Gee, we only wanted to celebrate!

Because of her ability to swing a baton, she was chosen as drum majorette of the Drury band. Her many charms add up to make her well liked by all. She's a good student and a hard worker, but always ready for a good time. She's full of fun, pretty and popular, yes, she certainly is a prince! Sept. 10, 1945-Mr. Anketell led us to a good start, doing a grand job of establishing our Student Government.
