Someday this may be his profession instead of hobby. He is a true friend who is always ready to laugh at good humor. HOWARD MAER LENHOFF Pro Merito 4 Nu Sigma Epsilon 2, 3 Interclass Basketball 2 Class Book Staff 4 Victory Corps l Varsity Track 4 An intelligent and studious pupil, Howard was more on the serious side than other 46 Druryites. A friendly smile and a warm personality won for him the respect and friendship of his fellow students. It was these qualities that placed him high in his class. Let's extend to Howie our congratulations for a wonderful four years of work and plenty of luck for whatever course in life he may take. If you happen to see a happy-go-lucky Irish lad strutting up and down the corridors, you can be sure it's Dick. EDWARD EUGENE KENNEDY Orchestra 1, 2 Swing Club 4 Band 1, 2, 3 First Aid Club 1, 2 Since Ed makes friends very easily he has a host of them. His eagerness to spring a joke makes life very merry when he's around. MARY DOROTHY KORDEK Class Vice-President 4 Class Play 4 Cheerleader 1, 2, 3, 4 Art Club 4 Victory Corps 1 Traffic Corps 3 Her blond hair, blue eyes, a personality that is as striking as her frankness have made Mary one of the most popular girls in the class. We realized her acting ability at the time of the class play. Her smile is a shot in the arm on those dark days. RUTH MARGARET LA FOREST Cheerleader 2, 3, 4 Service Corps 4 Victory Corps 1 Valuable asset to the cheering squad, buoyant personality, smooth dancing, sparkling brown eyes, these and more are characteristic of our Ruthy. Being a true friend to all that know her and a wonderful sport have gained her many friends here at Drury and will aid her to no end as she leaves our school. AMW? Her laugh and vivacious personality make her popular with all her friends. She has the will and ability to succeed. ROBERT MARTIN LILLY Class Book Staff 4 Interclass Track 4 Glee Club 3 ' Drivers' Club 3 Class Play 4 Bob is a serious, business-like fellow who does his work quickly and efficiently. He is quiet in school and just the opposite outside. He is full of fun and mischief when with his friends. You can safely say that Bob will be one of the most successful boys in the class. LORETTA NORMA LOPARDO Glee Club 3 Choir 3, 4 Drivers' Club 4 Class Play 4 Who's that glossy-haired brunette with the beautiful clothes? Why, that's our own Loretta! She did a grand job in the senior play as Lady CHuba Hubalj Macbeth. Loretta's lovely voice has also been an asset to the choir and glee club.
