Last year due to volunteer labor, the farmers were able to raise a record crop. This year more than ever the people throughout the world are depending on the United States for food to keep body and soul togetherg So this summer make 'it your business to volunteer for farm work. If you have any spare land plant a small wlctory garden and raise the foods that are scarce to buy. VHQLQ your country.n UFood is my . J. f n -, -L 192s The world is deeply indebted to the farmers for their untiring efforts to supply the world with food. 'X-ii-'X'- We often wonder why the girls always 'aile at Steve Amato. Could it be his cute wavy hair? . -' A The Trade School basketball team wound up its season with a successful year. . The team was in excellent shape due to the coaching of Ray Fawcetta Ray taught us a lot about basketball and his policy was that a team is not a team unless it fights as a unit. He also showed us plays and had us practice them until we knew them back- wards.: We wish to thank Coach. . Raymond Fawcett for his time and effort that he so willingly gave us. The team bought bhue trunks and white jerseys as a standard outfit anl this greatly improved the appearance of the entire team. We have had a good team for the last two years and we hope that tip future classes will continue to k - basketball alive in the Trade Sciig-o, t 'S 8 I U, i I

As we of the second graduating class of Trade School leave its doors for the last time, we leave to the succeeding class, the following rights and privileges, l. Instead of taking in another class of boys we suggest that a co-ed class be admitted. It would make classes more interesting. Don't you think? 2. A smoking room should be installed and keys distributed to pupils only. 3. Seeing the difficulty involved in every printing of the Traditorial, we Jill the class a brand new automatic printing press operated by buttons. 4, In the classroom a clock that will keep timegl 5, To the wolves we Will a book of HTH Stamps so that their gallivanting can continue. 6, A set of Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck films to brighten the day. 7. A new set of book ends for Mr, Coughlin's desk, Cast iron blocks are poor substitutes, aren't they? 8, A new basketball for the gym period One that will bounce. 9, Out of the goodness of our hearts we Seniors have decided to let the Juniors take our girls out.
