GERTRUDE ADAM Gert Class Book Typist 4 Woedworking Club 4 Quick smile. lifted eyebrows. and tilted nose. Yes. that's right, it's Gert. Although she is not very active in extra-curricular affairs. Gert is well-known and well-liked by the students for her congeniality and willingness to help anyone whenever the opportunity arises. Gert has a secret ambition. Will she realize it? He has made a great president of the Drury Sports- men's Club. He has spent four pleasant years at Drury and has been a loyal member of the Limelight Boy's Club. He enjoys his school work. turns out in a big way for the play. and never misses a ball game. Bert is quite a kidder and always has a joke or interesting incident on hand. They tell me that if you don't kid him back. you can't get along with him. PATRICIA BAILEY French Club Senior Play Drama Club Cheer Leader Speech Club Protn Committee Pat came to Drury last year from the city and. in that short time. has become one of our most popular seniors. This was unavoidable though. for Pat has a lovely personality and a marvelous sense of humor. Her acting. in our very successful class play. was of the best. Pat intends to be a freshman all over again for she wants to enter college next year to study dra- matics in which we are sure she'll succeed. ROBERT BARROWS Track This polished. dignified gentleman oi' the sleek auburn hair brings credit to our class. He has 1101 only carried his school work commendably but has toiled daily as an usher in the Paramount besides. Boy. did he add to that uniform! It's a wonder he's been able to resist the attacks of girls clamoring for his hand. Maybe you'll relent in college. eh. Bob. Her pleasant and reassuring personality has gained her many friends who will always think of her long after she leaves Drury. De Be is noted for her wonderful ability to play basketball. She is a hard worker and is well on her way to success.
