Her love of arguments and story writing has been sur- mounted by her great love for animals, especially horses. We feel secure in predicting her future success as a first-rate veterinarian. u ALICE MARGARET CATTANEO NAV! HSCOOISD Minstrel 2 Property Committee 4 Choir 3, 4 Prom Committee 4 Faust Martha Al, the smiling girl with the big brown eyes, has finally decided on her future careerg she plans to be a designer. May she have opportunity also in the years to come to make use of that beautiful soprano voice which has so thrilled her Drury audiences. Her cheer- ful disposition and her ability to t'stick by a pal, will certainly carry her through every eventful moment in the years to follow. BLANCHE MADELIENE CELLANA nJe,wy9x Basketball 1 Soccer 4 Service Corps 4 Although she's always a good student in class, Blanche very often is the center of fun and activity in the cor- ridors. Her pleasing disposition and good-natured giggle have won her many friends who wish her success in any career she may choose to follow, RUSSELL JOHN CHENAIL Russ Prom Committee 3, 4 Hollywood with its Fred Astaire has nothing on Drury, for we have Russ He surprised us all by coming to the dances last year, and he has since accredited himself nobly in this pastime. If there is a dance anywhere in the city you will surely find Russ in attendance. We know that Russ's cheery grin and good-natured personality will insure for him a successful career in his future life. S333SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS E fffrffilifffffrfrf282282222

iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii H l 222?iiliilifiliiiliiiiilizl MONROE BURDICK fK'M0nYl Prom Committee 3 Mon is one of the best looking boys in our class, and has thus set many feminine hearts beating. How- ever, he seems indifferent to these palpitations, and pursues his way serenely and nonchalantly. He's planning to attend Albany Business School next year, where we are sure he'll meet with success. BERNARD JOSEPH CALVI Berno Cal Baseball 3, 4 Football 4 Prom Committee 3 Cal is always willing to do whatever is asked of him. He enters into everything whole-heartedly, and never fails to have a good time. This year he has become quite a football hero. Remember the Adams- Drury game, Berno? This good-natured and friendly boy, who possesses an abundance of school spirit, is one of the most likeable members of his class. ROSE CAROL CANTONE A:T0nyyv Minstrels 1 Prom Committee 3 Academe Typist 4 Rose is the sophisticated lady of the commercial department. Her refinement and taste in fashion are admired by all her acquaintances. She is very adept in the art of writing poetry, as almost any Academe will illustrate. She will, we are sure, through her charm, become a leader among women. BURTON UDELL CARR Prom Committee 3 One may always hear Burton's interested Voice, extending his ideas and theories, in a discussion of any kind. Recently, he has entered that realm of much- honored dancers and we hear he is pretty good. Burton, may your success be much better than pretty good in the future. 3333333333333iiiiiifsiiiiii 13 22222222222222222222288222

Although he is forced to commute daily each morn- ing from Monroe Bridge, this early matutinal rising does not disturb his bland, serene personality. He spends most of his spare time in the neighborhood of the ticket office of Loew's Richmond Theatre. We wonder what the attraction is? BARBARA ELSIE CROFTS KKBarb!I Minstrels 1 Basketball 3, 4 Prom Committee 3 Class Book Staff Barb, tall and attractive, is an eflicient business girl. However, all her time is not spent in commercial study. She has many outside interests, eh, Barb ? She is, indeed, a true friend and one that will always remain loyal and steadfast. CHARLES BERNARD DAUNAIS Charlie Don't let this young man fool you, for although he may appear to be verging on the soporific state, he is ever on the alert. And, hush, Charlie is one of Drury's most proficient practical jokers. PHILIP DAVIS Hphiln c1Flop!r Prom Committee 3 Some think Phil is quiet but those who really know him have found him just the opposite. During the four years Phil has been with us he has earned our ad- miration and respect for his loyalty and honesty. The class of '36 wishes you the best of luck, Phil.
