HELEN ELIZABETH BROWN Brownie Her air is so modest, her aspect so meek, So szmple, yet so sweei, are her charms. Helen hopes someday to become a teacher. Her quiet manners and friendly, sweet ways will surely help her to be a success in this work. These qualities account for her host of friends. NELLIE ELIZABETH BROWN Minstrels 2, 3 Prom Committee 3 Nellie is shy and quite reserved, but she has a nice personality and is always congenial with everyone. Although she hasn't taken an active part in school affairs, she has made a host of friends among her own I set. Nellie's smile will be a pleasant memory to all her admirers. WILLIAM CLEVELAND BRUNDIGE KfBillYl Band 1, 2, 3, 4 Prom Committee 4 Bill is one of those happy-go-lucky individuals. He has few worries and always manages to have a good time. Evidently, playing the trumpet is one of his favorite pastimes, for is he not a loyal supporter of the Drury Band? By his quiet, unassuming way, he has left his imprint upon our class. If a giggle was heard during an explanation of the requirements of a good filing system, that was Dorry . Her con- tagious laughter and sunny smile have penetrated the hearts of many at Drury. CHARLES E. BOISVERT Fat Charlie Basketball 2, 3, 4, Capt. 4 Football 2, 3, 4 Asst. Manager Baseball 3 Track 2 Manager of Baseball 4 Student Council 4 Traffic Corps 3, 4 Chief of Traffic Corps 4 Prom Committee 3 Charlie has been one of Drury's outstanding athletes, excelling in basketball and football. He's an able track man and deserves credit for his remarkable swim- ming ability. Charlie likewise possesses a pleasing and witty personality, which has created for him a throng of friends. A boy with these splendid traits will surely make a success of anything he undertakes. CHARLES FRANCIS BOURDON Service Corps 4 Prom Committee 4 Charlie is yet another of the quiet members of our class. However, he possesses an additional, valuable characteristic-patience. How- ever, he seems indifferent to these palpitations, and pursues his way serenely and nonchalantly. He's planning to attend Albany Business School next year, where we are sure he'll meet with success. BERNARD JOSEPH CALVI Berno Cal Baseball 3, 4 Football 4 Prom Committee 3 Cal is always willing to do whatever is asked of him. He enters into everything whole-heartedly, and never fails to have a good time. This year he has become quite a football hero. Remember the Adams- Drury game, Berno? This good-natured and friendly boy, who possesses an abundance of school spirit, is one of the most likeable members of his class. Her refinement and taste in fashion are admired by all her acquaintances. She is very adept in the art of writing poetry, as almost any Academe will illustrate. She will, we are sure, through her charm, become a leader among women. Recently, he has entered that realm of much- honored dancers and we hear he is pretty good.
