Mrs Hazel Apple, sponsor, and Bob Webb president make homeroom assignments fo Student Council members The spring election ofofficers and repre- sentatives was the highlight of the year. Colorful signs printed with witty slogans and the names of the candidates were hung on the walls throughout the school. For several days, politics reigned in the halls and class- rooms. The Council sent Bob Webb, Ed Wal- bridge, Virginia Kane, and Barbara Parrish to the state convention at Wewoka Mrs, Apple went as a sponsor for a discussion group. The convention is held annually as a meeting for the Student Councils of Okla- homa. Fifty schools were represented at the convention.
