Activities XY'e have many kinds of ACTIVITIIQS in our school, some honorary and others which are open to all. Two of these are BOYS' STATIQ and GIRLS' STATIQ, composed of boys and girls chosen from the upper ten per cent of the iunior class from high schools all over the state. They meet at chosen towns to study government. These are sponsored by the different service clubs of the town, particularly the American Legion and American Iegion Auxiliary. The GOING TO CUI.I.IfGIf qui! was conducted by the University of Tulsa for the brilliant seniors who didn't shine so brightly when called on to give the Gettysburg Address and nursery rhymes, Inci- dentally, Donald Parker won the S25 savings bond. The 4-II CLUB was composed of students from all classes interested in the many activities that help make a good wide-awake citiven. Those that ap- peared particularly alert were Bob, Billy Don, and Phillip. The members were interested in the projects offered which ranged from raising farm products to sewing. Their leaders were Miss Lois De Mond and George Maynard. They met once 3 month. It was not under direct sponsorship of the school, but the school encouraged it and helped when possible. ,gon , i 5-' '- z: . . gif I isovs' .xxii taxis' sian, lin fi. ,,K1.f--,l.itk imtsiitt-s, ml.- liadgwcll, lions Odom, Marx Ann lacl-ter.
