54 'P'lafeAeccf One day I decided to go back to my old home town of Drummond to see my old school chums. I was very surprised to see that the following had happened to them: Jim Fagan had captured a FLYING SAUCER and went for a ride and hasn't been heard from since. Ervin Bushby was now the biggest bee-herder in the Northwest. New fad--uses a helicopter to keep track of them. Bob Periman, after thinking of an ingenious way to be- come rich, is now spending some time with his old pen pals in Deer Lodge. Leland Mentzer had gone to Hollywood. He received a contract from M. G. to sing in their new musical, YODEL ME BLUE. Jack Hatch had gone to night school for ten years to become Superintendent of D. H. S. Lucky for Ron Magnus sen he joined the National Guard when he did. He is now a General in the U. S. Army. Don Shanklin got ambitious and became president for a top Los Angeles modeling agency. (Guess who he wants to model for him?) Fred, Slow As Molasses In January, Parker never did catch up. He is still back in 1953. (Somebody invent a time machine--Bob ? ? ?) Shirley Lucier was finally convinced by a former fellow student, of the great possibilities of gold digging in Alaska-- went. Frankie Morse liked Miss Hawkins' profession so much that she is now an English teacher at Kukamongo Tech. Arlette Clawson decided to join the Waves. Lucky break for her, she is now the athletics in- structor. Poor ole Lois Robinson, just got completely bored with the world and got lost. (Anybody seen her ? Report whereabouts to D. H. S.) Space Ace Lorence Sturm now leads expeditions to the moon with his pretty little wife, Alice. Gary Maughan is now head announcer for station D. H. S. Bill Herter is now great singer for a prominent opera house. 12
