(not shown) 3 Superintendent’s Message In these closing days of my administrative and teaching duties at Drummond Public Schools I have been obsessed with a deep sense of gratitude to the mem- bers of the faculty, the board of trustees, the student body and the parents in this community and the surrounding areas. The members of my family join me in expressing our happiness in having had the opportunity to work with you during the past two and one-half years. We shall take with us the many fine memories of pleasant events, happy associations and genuine friendships form- ed during our stay here. To members of the graduating class may I urge you to make loyalty your watch- word and service you constant goal as you leave the confines of Drummond high school. I am leaving Drummond with a deep sense of pride in a excellent faculty and a splendid student body. Drummond can justly be proud of you and your many accomplishments. And to the members of the Drummonda Staff and their sponsor, Mrs. Wilson, who have worked so diligently in creating this truly excellent year book, please accept my sincerest congratulations on a job well deserving of a superior rating. This book is indeed a fitting monument to your untiring efforts and creative thinking and planning. With only 2 losses in 12 conference games they more than lived up to the expectations at the beginning of the season. Barker led the Trojans on to victory by maintaining an average of more than 20 points per game.
