X -L' S is for the season that brings us school day joys V D is for the danger when the game gets under way T is for the weariness that comes with every May , H is for hoorays at our victorious games. S is simply for our school, which in the heart remains. R. A. E. Oh. for a Tongue to Tell! Drummer has a trophy case, a nice looking one, too. I It holds so many secrets, ones I wish I knew. Every day a young fellow, on that case leisurely leans Whispering sweet nothings to a Missy in her teens. Many romances there have grown, others nevermore we will K- X see. Us EAM In that case forever they'Il lie. Safely hidden there they will be. THOSE WHO KNOW We who are safe in the homeland Can't realize the vicious way Those Axis parties fight like mod, Fiercer as night turns to day, But our doughboys know their treachery, And we'lI block their tackle, too.
