And to all the students of Driver High School, I am particularly pleased to have this special opportunity to extend to each of you my very sincere congratulations. Congratulations for what----for the wonderful manner in which you accepted a rather strange and new condition at the beginning of the school term and have turned the year into one of cooperation and sincere understanding. The mutual respect displayed toward one another and toward all of us who have made up your faculty has surely been an inspiration to all concerned. You accepted the challenge of a new school brought about by a widely discussed con- solidation and in so doing you have evidenced those characteristics that exemplify the high- est qualifications of citizenship. To those of you who will be graduating--we regret to see you go but such must be.
