Ms. Minniehaha P.V. Mansfield, a Native American, visited Drexel as a guest of Dr. Arthur Shostak's Race and Ethnic Relations class. Ms. Mansfield discussed the topics of ln- dian Rights, mistreatment of the ln- dians, and Native American culture, bringing along with her many ar- tifacts. Ms. Mansfield resides in a home in New Jersey and has suc- cessfully maintained a balance bet- ween Native American and modern life.

There have been some important changes in the College of Business and Administration over the past year: in Spring 1978, after a search of outside and in-house candi- dates, Dr. Paul E. Das- cher was selected as the new Dean. Profes- sor Joseph Ford had filled in as Acting Dean while the search pro- gressed. at the end of Decem- ber, the position of As- sistant to the Dean al- so opened as Dave Hill resigned. Dave served as a liaison between students and the facul- ty, mainly as a trouble- shooter. He was repl- aced by Nancy Sch- midt, who had previou- sly worked in the Presi- dent's office. three MBA programs received accredita- tion after a two-year evaluation process.
