Hmm DEAN LEON D. STRATTON since 1909 has given unceasinqly ot his time. his energy, and his sympathy: has made himself a very part of the Institute and ol our lite here. A man ol many duties and activities, he is advisor tor Blue Key and Men's Student Council. lecturer in chemistry. THE DEAN OF WOMEN. MRS. DOROTHY RICE YOUNG, attractive, well-qrcomed. and possessing a pleasant personality, is an understanding and sympathetic companion to the women students. An excellent speaker, she is a participant in many activities other than those oi the office of Dean ol Women. She serves as advisor to the Women's Student Government Association and is a member of the United Nations Student Council. Constantly busy, she is always available to students when they need help, and is well liked by all who live and work with her. ws .3 if me and truly a mainstay of Drexel Institute.

D. Paul. Upon the completion of his fifth successful year as the President of Drexel Institute, Dr. Iames Creese can review his work with pride. The formal opening and dedication of the Alumni Scientific Laboratories is a goal toward which Dr. Creese has worked for several years. lt is a direct result of his diligent per- severance and leadership. This achievement is typical of the rnan, President Creese, always forging ahead, constantly planning Drexel's future. Dr. Creese is admired and respected by the faculty and students alike. Always screening his thoughts with a disarming smile, the President directs the complexities of the college with apparent ease. Dr. Creese manages to find time also to serve as the President of the Amer- ican Association of Urban Universities and to be active in the American Scandinavian Foundation. Working Wtih Dr. Creese are the often-forgotten men-behind-the-scenes, the Board of Trustees. Under the chairmanship of A. I. Drexel Paul, these men plan the school's curricula, regulate its finances, direct its rapidly developing expansion program, and help in every way to place the name of Drexel at the top in the fields of art, science and industry.
