A wide range of selections for training and research specialization are offered by the Department. The M.S. and Ph.D. programs are di- rected to individulas desiring a broad ex- perience and training for a research ca- reer in biochemistry. And remember boys and girls. wrap that rascal Clinica sychology The Graduate Program in Clinical Psychology leading to the Doctor of Psychology degree QPsy.D.J is de- signed to retain the basic skills and knowledge traditional to clinical psy- chology such as psychodiagnostic testing and psychotherapy, while si- multaneously exposing the individual to new ideas and practices in the field. The purpose of the program leading to the Doctor of Philosophy CPh.D.j is to provide extensive theoretical and research training and experience to al- low graduates to make a significant contribution to the field of clinical psy- chology. Students are trained primari- ly as specialists in clinical theory, clini- cal research and research methodology. The difference between the two programs is the emphasis given to clin- ical and research training. I Creative Arts In Therapy This is a two-year program leading to a Masters of Creative Arts in Thera- py degree. Molecular Biology This is an interdepartmental pro- gram in molecular biology and biotech- nology emphasizing extensive training in a number of biomedical fields. The program is heavily oriented toward re- search in the fields of gene regulation, differentiation. oncogenesis, and evolution. The M.S. degreee program is intend- ed for the student who wishes to strengthen their theoretical grasp of molecular biology and biotechnology and to gain a knowledge of research methodology available in the fast-ex- panding field of molecular biology. Stu- dents choosing to go on for their Ph.D. select a track emphasizing an academ- ic discipline of particular interest. The program is research oriented to the development of new diagnos- tic and therapeutic radiopharma- ceuticals, requiring mastery of the important principles of medicinal, organic, bio-, and radiochemistry, nuclear instrumentation, and pharmacology.
