Pathology The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine offers graduate programs leading to Master of Sci- ence, Doctor of Philosophy, and Master of Clinical Immunology De- grees. harmacology The Department of Pharmacology has graduate programs that offer the Master of Science Degree and the Doctor of Philosophy degree. Students entering our program have a strong background in the sciences. Their undergraduate education allows them to begin to com- prehend and appreciate the principles in pharmacology which involve organic chemistry, biochemistry and physiology as related to drug action in the body. The Master's Degree program provides a broad knowledge of pharmacology and the basic contributing sciences along with technical experience to become a valuable partner in research.
