Many long hours were spent in the library orthe MDL trying to learn the volumes of available knowl- edge. There were lonely nights trying one more time to get this down . And then, all shreds of curriculum were destroyed as courses were planned only hours before they began, and a six week extension was added to the six week extent- sion. You found yourself asking, Do lpwant to be a doctor? 0f course, Hahnemann was not all work and loneliness. You shared the fun of moving into your first apartment. There were beer parties, Christmas parties and even a Halloween party. 5 s-f

CLASS OF 1981 ORIENTATION So, you wanted to be a doctor. You worked hard to get to Hahnemann and you knew what lay ahead. You'd have to work a bit, but ever- ything was made. Soon, you would be out saving lives and helping people. After all, once you got accepted to medical school, there was nothing to stop you. Or, so you were told - and some of you believed it! Orientation was an exciting time of new ex- periences. Everyone got a chance to meet their fellow classmates in an environment of conge- niality that included luncheons, a wine and cheese party, a beer party and even a belly danc- er.
