HOME C OMING WEEK - UCT. 21-25 Crowning of king at halftime of powder puff game. Oct. 21 -25, a week full of excitement, fun SL tension, was spent in preparation for our Homecoming game against Sherwood and the dance. On Monday four king candidates were selected by the student body. These were Darren Kearns, Carlos Vazquez, Mike Wackerman, and Mike West- hoff. A slave auction was held on Tuesday where volunteering girls were sold to the highest bidder. The money from this project went towards the Homecoming dance expenses. On Wednesday the halls were filled with bright, wild colors, as almost everyone observed Clash Day. A winner was chosen from each class as being the best dressed . At 5:00, Thursday evening, the Black Team versed the White Team in an exciting powder puff football game. Finally Friday! This was Black gc Gold Day. This was the day of our victory over the Sherwood Marksmen. This was the day of our Homecoming dance. Most importantg this was a week to be remembered for a long time. Gettin' ready.
