Class Prophecy It's still a little hazy. Oh! Wait! It's clearing up a little now. What is this we see before us in our crystal ball? We see the famous spaceship HIPPS III, named after the noted scientist, WILLIAM HIPPS, owned by RODNEY DEAL, and piloted by STEVE BURNS, making history by being the first to land on the moon. As the first people to see the moon descend from the spaceship, we see three noted travelers, GEORGE POWELL, RICHARD COOPER, and WAYNE BRITTAIN; following them is the famous geographical artist, HAROLD DENTON with his stenographer, NANCY TILLEY, who is taking notes on the first moon trip. Ah, yes, next we have the millionaires, PRISCILLA BRANCH, KENNETH SETTLEMYRE, DONALD GRIGG, CAROL GARRISON, WALTER JOHNSON, and SYLVIA HENLEY, all looking for profitable investments. Something is clouding our crystal ball. Wait! What's this? The planet Mars. The question, Are there people on Mars, is now solved. In height these people resem- ble EDITH FRANKLIN, coach of the Drexel Metorites. Their heads resemble fish—that should interest STEVE HUFFMAN, noted fish biologist. Goodness! Look how they wear their hair. Why, that one pony tail would make even LAVADA JACUMIN and SHIRLEY TOWERY, famous hair stylists, envious. As we take off from Mars, we leave behind us sever- al teachers-JUDY YARBROUGH, LYNN DUNCAN, PEARL ROBINSON, and LINDA RECTOR—who have decided they like the Martian educational system better than their own. On the long journey to Jupiter, our agricultural ex- pert, JEFFREY BRENDLE, suddenly becomes ill. Psychol- ogist PATRICIA KIRBY insists that it's just all in his mind, but nurses GLENDA LANE, VIVIAN POWELL, and ALYCE BERRY say differently. Surgeons WILMA MOSES and MIKE HUFFMAN diagnosed the case as being only a stomach overstuffed with milk shakes from the Milky Way, owned by the distinguished bachelor MIKE GRIFFIN. On sitting down upon Jupiter, we are met by the mil- lionaire wife of BOBBY DAVES, owner of nine of the twelve famous moons of Jupiter. CARROLL FRANKLIN and DON HULL, her business managers, convince b u s i n e s s m e n MORRIS BAKER and BILLY HIGGINS; the noted electri- cian TEDDY MOSTELLER; and furniture manufacturer DALE LYBRAND, that their business profits would be higher on Jupiter than on Earth. But after their decision, their only worry is that their secretaries, HELENA POWELL, HELEN BARBER, VIRGINIA NORTON, and REBECCA EASTERLY, will not agree to accept a new life on Jupiter. We are now on our way to Saturn, What's happen- ing! Our crystal ball is growing misty. Oh! Now we can see clearly again. We are having engine trouble! To avoid panic, stewardesses IRENE SMITH, ALMA MAYE, PEGGY CHAPMAN, and SHIRLEY BROWN reassure the passengers, while the famous engineer, THOMAS SETTLEMYRE, directs his mechanics, CARL CAMPBELL, JACK HESTER, and JOEL SIMMONS in eliminating the trouble. From a distance we can clearly see the bright rings revolving around Saturn. It is hard to pass the rings, but we finally land. The first thing we see are the bright neon lights advertising the forthcoming concert to be given by conductor JEAN SPENCER, featuring soloist JVlILDRED LINGAFELDT, accompanied by BARBARA STAMEY. Also on the program are the Moon Rings — WANDA HAIGLER, LINDA SMITH, PEGGY CHAPPELL, VEREDAH STEPHENS, and RACHEL NORMAN. During our second night on Saturn, we are invited to RITA GRADY and LINDA AMOS's famous fashion show, with models BRENDA POWELL and BETSY SETTLEMYRE modeling the new stardust fashions with moonstone jewelry accessories in various comet colors. After a very enjoyable stay on Saturn, we depart for Pluto, the last stop before returning home. Here we find BILLY BURNS and YATES BUFF recording their much en- vied Yuk! Yuk! Yuk! laugh. After playing the record onetime, however, SYBIL C O Z O R T had to be given some of BILL RUDICLL's nerve pills. We were very eager to get back to Earth; therefore our stay on Pluto was short. Before our departure, a very promising religious leader, BETTY SUE PEARSON, wish- ed us a safe journey home. Finally our ship lands on Earth. KAYE DEAL and WILMA REECE, prominent housewives, find our trip an excellent source of conversation. Coaches PHIL BURNS, HOMER MAYE, and LARRY REECE were constantly talk- ing about the extreme weight and height of planetary sportsmen. But to Coach RONDAL WATTS this presented a problem of future universal competition. The crystal ball is growing darker and darker. We cannot see anything else. Oh well, this adventure has been rather tiresome, and it's so late. . . . ALOMA McCLURED EUNICE SECREST 21
