S A' ' Officers: Cl to rb Carol Pierce, treasurer, Polly . . 1 Hempling, fire vice president, f Wafqlgn' Ioan Bracllcy, president, Ginny Villamil, A ,wreff Barbara Vickery, secretary. -fy M ww' ,-1 M WELCH HA LL However quiet and unassuming Welch Hall may appear to be from the exterior, within the walls of the structure are seventy-tive spirited freshman coeds under the direction of 'iMom Murray and three upperclassmen, Phyl, Gerie, and Purdy. The freshmen have unbounding enthusiasms for water fights, locking up the counsellors and raids on Baldwin Hall at 5:30 a.m. Although the girls' enthusiasm waivers when a house meeting is called, their energy has been channeled into constructive pursuits such as the adoption of a foreign orphan, traditional house parties, and the Christmas Carol Contest in which Welch placed second.
