WOM EN 'S Yoo-hoo, over here I The women's athletic program continued to expand and improve under the leadership of the WAA Board, Mrs. Kenyon and Mrs. Voor- hees. As in past years the most popular intra- mural sport was volleyball. This year Asbury Hall emerged undefeated champions of the tournament. A varsity soccer team was formed in the fall and won its only game. An excellent varsity volleyball team was formed which was undefeated in tournaments sponsored by Drew and by Saint E's. Finishing its second year, the girls' swimming team posted a 1 and 2 record, having lost to Centenary and Trenton and downed Farleigh. The Fencing Team split this year, winning over F arleigh Dickinson 13- 3 and losing to Newark Rutgers 9-7. The most exciting feature of this year's program was the return of varsity basketball. In its first year the team finished with an excellent 5 and 1 record. The girls defeated Farleigh, MadiS0H, Centenary, Upsala and Saint E's and lost 011lY to Douglass. Still one of the most populaf groups on campus, the Synchers presented Broadway Capers as their annual spring show.
