John Williams, Coach. Despite a 5-13 record, the Drew Rangers played inspired basketball this past season and finished on a winning note. With Dick Stafford as the only 1963 graduate on the team, the outlook for next season should be very bright. The outstanding playing of Doug Wicoff was the highlight of the year. He led the team in scoring average, rebounding, Held goal percentage and foul percentage. He averaged 16.9 points and 15.8 rebounds per game. This season also saw Dick Stafford put another feather in his cap as he scored 30 points in a game which ran overtime.

This was Coach Davis' first season with the Ranger booters and with the assistance of team cap- tain Hal Pedersen and a wealth of new talent iS proved a most successful debut. The team this year showed great teamwork and determination, and, with the prospect of an enlarged schedule next season, gained much valuable experience.
