Chair-mi lick Olmsted li F I Phyllis Bailey, Co-Chairman Don Scott, Co-Chairman FA LL RETREA T Despite the usual bus catastrophes, forty Fall Retreat- ers, under the leadership of Phyllis Bailey and Don Scott, arrived safely at the Moravian Camp in Hope, NJ., to spend the weekend of October 26-8 in wor- ship, fellowship, and fun. The guest speaker, Professor Robert Myers of the Methodist Theological School of Ohio, channeled the main stream of discussion along the lines of the topic Christ - the Gift. A drama- tic worship service directed by Bob Terhune and an excellent film, The Gift, were special highlights of the weekend. Everyone enjoyed the singing, the time for personal meditation and for exploring the scenic hills of the camp, and of course the delicious home- made food. Put me down before the Chaplain sees me! Art Valenzuela and Marilyn Stoner stand in a beautiful background of the retreat camp property.

METHODIST TUDE T MO VEME T Some of the outstanding events of the Methodist Student Movement have included a survey and panel discussion of the religious life at Drew, and talks on such topics as the urole of doubt in Christianityf' given by Dr. Karl Michaelson. MSM also presented a japanese dinner, the proceeds of which went to a needy charitable organization. Religious Week this year featured an ecumenical con- ference, involving all religious groups from college campuses in the New Jersey and Western Pennsyl- vania area. The president of this organization has been Carole Wilkin. CANTERBURY CLUB t Ken Stevens, president, Ralph Powell, vice president, Christina Harris, secretary, Liz Ford, treasurer, Father Adams, both spiritual and practical advisor, and other Canterbury members have many happy memories of this year: the 7 a.m. VVednesday com- munions and breakfasts, the 'Liturgy and Life' con- ference in New York State, the Armenian vespers, 'Brecht on Brecht,' The Blacksf' and spaghetti, roast beef and chicken dinners served to broaden both the minds and the bodies of the club' members. An outstanding lecture and discussion was led by Mrs. Elizabeth Korn on the religious nature of art at the Christmas meeting and the members looked forward to having a monk from Holy Cross speak during Lent. The motto of Canterbury is one of friendship for whenever you find four Episcopalians gathered to- gether you will always find a fifth. 112 I st Bob ROI Bob Bom Gilh Sem Gay wicl And vin J K The Janu to af learni come them regulz Scien. when' group 1t1es terest.
