This annual represents a new endeavor in moving away from the traditional yearbook that never varies in it's format. We have attempted to give the students an annual that repre- sents their school in a way that has never really been tried. Unfortunately, many obstacles were in our way. We overcame these problems as best as we could and managed to add more to this annual in other ways. Many pictures proved unprintable for this annual, so others were used in their place, in hopes of keeping the format and the mood of the annual going. Again, we wish to thank everyone for all of the help you have given us. 4 -ff,-.ie , e an-. ' uul. 7.9, yr. NJ GUESS WHO I I I I -l w 3 Dear Sirs, I am very happy to say that as a l former Booker student, l'm very happy at l Dreher. Everyone Calmost everyonel has been very friendly and nice. People have excepted me for what I am and have not l l 'l l looked down on me because I went to y Booker. I am proud of Booker and of E having the chance to go there. It's one of my greatest experiences. Dreher is I turning into a great and memorable ex- perience also. For this I would like to thank all the last year Dreher students for their exceptance. THANKS! Anon. Dear Editors , Lunch period is now 50 minutes long. There is just not enough time to someplace and eat, and come back to get a decent parking place in time for your next class. Students who have been sit- ting in three classes all morning deserve at least one hour for lunch period. lVlost Q0 of the students who attend Dreher have to come back tor three more classes. I do not think it would be asking to much to cut some classes five minutes short so the teachers and students can have more time for lunch. Dear Editors, Could you explain something to me? I do not understandy why so many students are going around spreading malicious rumors about the annual? This is something that could really hurt the publication of any future annuals. ls this someone's idea of telling us to give up annuals for- ever? Please explain this to us sometime. Sincerely, Lynn Lee Brown The letters that appear here are written by students with a bone to pick , or compliments to give. Q, 'ar x. 1 'fa il. , -l ,titer T This year a group of forty some-odo Dreher students descended on the historic city of Williamsburg, Va. Under the super vision and the guidance of lVIs. Hendrix, each and every student was given a first class tour of the city. Local surroundings, fine cuisine, and even the stores added to an even more enjoyable visit. Two differ- ent tour groups were arranged for students on their first trip and another was set up for those who decided to make a return trip. Planned 'activities during the day added to free time in the evenings gave I , 2 rw each student his chance to explore the city 2 :ii s Q alone. Thank Heavens ll!!! It's finally finished + Now is the time that l'm suposed to sound very wise and philosophical about all of the ways of producing this annual, but I can't. This year's annual proved to be one of the most difficult to be produced. I would like to take time out to thank those who helped us through the thick and thin of things. Many thank go to Barbara, Pam, Don, and Wallace for all of the help and encouragement they gave us. Without these people this annual would not have been pos- sible. Special thanks goto our sponsors, IVIr. Tim- othy Kasprzyk tdid I get it right?D, and lVIrs. Jane IVIc- f Kay, for standing behind us all the way. Thanks go to Dr. Wilsford and good ol' Buzz for their help, also. This annual was not mean't to represent one basic idea, but was mainly designed to represent life at Dreher and the good times we have. Yeah, we have our problemsjust like everyone else, but we try to do something about them. Thanx-I-I-ll!!! aww! f-P Y-.-J,-vw X I ,I 94-4 A? . s yr r M .i .0 il . s vs 'I r fuses. I can't believe this year has gone by so fast! By the time we got finished with our 'first deadline our ' wi' fi ,gg next and last one came looming up. All too fast. There are so many people I would like to thank, but it would take this page and more so l'Il say it once, Thanks! lVly junior year here at Dreher has been fantastic. I think working on the annual has made it so, I still can't believe that I have learned 100 teachers names. I do want to say one thing, A lot of people worked hard and spent a great deal of their precious time on this master-piece so I hope you can appreciate it!
