Administration TO THE CLASS OF 1949 Our nation, our representative democracy, must have intelligent citizens in order to live. Therefore, our problems are many and diversified, and we must always endeavor to make the courses preparatory for college, and a finishing school for that portion of our youth who decide tc go directly from high school into the struggles of life EARL B. It is with deep sincerity that we, the Class of 1949 of Draper High School, respectfully dedicate our yearbook to Mr. Earl B. Zimmer, Superintendent of Schools, who is retiring after thirty-nine years of service to our school. We believe Draper School has been singularly fortunate in having a man ot such high integrity as its guide and administrative head tor such a long period of years. Under his capable leadership our school has grown from a two-room school to a large suburban one that is known throughout the state tor its high standards of education. This would not have been possible without his outstanding leadership and unseltish service to our school. It is with a sense of real loss that we say goodbye to Mr. Zimmer, our beloved Superintendent of Schools, and we wish him every success and happiness in his new undertaking. til es i W
