The journalism class is responsible for the editing and financing of this news¬ paper. The Crest Staff” is composed of members of the journalism class, and the advisor, Miss Rebecca Dalton. The desire of the staff was to produce an annual that could be valued and be shown with pride. In the years to come we hope you will lift the 1951 Crest from your treasured chest of memories and turn over again to your high school days. Our Student Council consists of a President, Vice-President, Secretary-Treasurer, a faculty sponsor, and two representatives from each class. Near the close of each school year officers for the following year are elected; the President and Secretary and Treasurer from the rising Senior class, and the Vice-President from the rising Junior class. They are elected by secret ballot. This year the Student Council sponsored a Hallowe’en Carnival and sent repre¬ sentatives to a county meeting. They operate a school store and provide a telephone for the students. To promote cleanliness in the school the council awards a prize every six weeks for the cleanest room during this period.
