Cont. from page 21 Tessitore, Treasurer - Dierk Van Dleef. That year we sponsored a Ham Supper, dance, Jamboree, three-act play, They Gave Him a Co-ed, game party, and Senior Prom. The class sold cards and magazines and received the soda concession - bringing our treasury up to 3746. 80. New Hartford claimed Alice Way and William Peeters left to get a job. The long awaited day came on September 3, 1957 --yes, you've guessed it! The kindergarteners are now seniors. The first week of school was spent in busy conversation about our summer vacation. This week also served as an introduction to Mr. Frank Di Noto who was destined to become our third class advisor. At roll call we missed our president of last year John Nash, and Louise Dunham was transferred to Kingston. At the first meeting we elected the following class officers: President - David Morris, Vice President and Corresponding Secretary - Margaret Tessitore, Secretary - Norma Graves, Treasurer - Sherwood Enck. The seniors are eagerly awaiting their trip to Washington. To make these dreams come true we must have 851500. 00 in our treasury. To raise this money we have sponsored a Ham Supper, Yearbook and a dance. We have also sold magazines, cards, and Fruitcakes. In order to reach our goal, we are planning other activities such as a Jamboree, Dairylea Dinner, Penny Carnival, bake sale, and game party. We will close our high school education with Class Day Exercises June 19, and Grad- uation June 20. After graduation we will travel various roads, but whatever path we travel we will always remember the trials and triumphs of the years at Draper. In part- ing we wish to thank all the teachers who have helped us with patience and care to master social and educational development. Gretel Pape Class Historian
