MAROON AND GOLD 1947 SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY The first picture we see of the future is a small proiitable looking farm in Sperry Hollow owned and operated by Robert Norton. Don Huntington also owns a farm and has an orchestra of his own. Virginia Gladstone is a dietitian in a Poughkeepsie hospital kitchen. Down on Long Island Kathleen Carroza is busy at her job as a laboratory tech- nician and up in Worcester Muriel Barnes is running her small beauty parlor. We see Sidney Chamberlain as a building contractor and Edna Klein as a housewife. Frances Skellie is also a housewife and Lester Collison is the hired man on her farm. Walter Klein is pictured as a traveling salesman, Dennis Hamill as a minister and Henry Pape as a taxi driver. In Vicksburg, Mississippi Arlene Pier is clerking in a grocery store. Eliza- beth Hubbard too, is clerking and in her own dress shop located in New York City. There is Rosie Carnicelli, as governess in Washington, D. C., and Winifred McDonough a table tennis instructor at the YWCA in Austin, Texas. Oh yes, here we see Burton Borst a professional basketball player enroute to Madison Square Garden and Martin Jacobs a florist in Oneonta.
