Airer several preliminary school meelings in early November a formal inifiaiion was conducfed al fhe Scheneclady Y.M.C.A. af which lime 2l mem- bers were inifiafed. Meefings have been held weekly for 'rhe purpose of discussing social problems of youlh. On several occasions meetings have been held af 'rhe Y.M. C.A. affer which lhe members enjoyed swimming and various games under 'the direc- fion of Horace F. Shepherd. boys' work secrerary of The Y.M.C.A. ln February. fhe Junior Hi-Y, The Senior H1-Y, and several girls' clubs aided 'rhe Sfudenf Council in forming and regulafing a fraffic confrol proiecl' in fhe halls and sfairs of Draper High School. A+ fhe lasr eleclion of lhe Junior Hi-Y, 'Four new members were elecfed, raising fhe quofa fo 25 members. The ouisfanding social evenl was a recenf roller slcaiing parfy sponsored by rhe Junior Hi-Y af a local rink: over l5O alfended.
