We began The new semesTer wiTh a parTy wiTh our sisTer Girl Reserve Club, The Silver Circle. This was held aT The Y.W.C.A., wiTh an aTTernoon oT games Tollowed by su er. ppFor our EasTer service worlc we packed a large box wiTh giTTs consisTing oT cloThing and Toys Tor The children of The Plum Orchard School in ClayTon, Georgia. Under our new sysTem OT class membership, nexT year's club will consisT oT all new members Trom The class oT I939, since The presenT members are seniors and hope To graduaTe in June. We have held several meeTings and gave a Tea Tor These new members in order To acquainT Them wiTh The TradiTions oT The Blue Triangle Club. AT ChrisTmas Time we gave a IiTTle-sisTer parTy and disTribuTed ChrisTmas boxes as our mid-year service proiecT. The liTTle-sisTer parTy, which was held in The school audiTorium, was a success beyond our highesT expecTaTion. Each club member inviTed a less-TorTunaTe liTTle sisTer and Through The fine co-operaTion oT boTh girls and advisers, TorTy liTTle girls wenT home ThaT nighT, Tired, buT happ . A our aITernaTe social meeTings This year, we enjoyed TalTis by diTTerenT members OT The TaculTy, and The Girl Reserve SecreTary, Miss CharloTTe Morris. The discussions proved boTh inTeresTing and educaTional. On April 9Th, our club sponsored a Silver Swing Dance. This dance was held aT The school, and in spiTe of unTavorable weaTher, was a success. The club gave a Tea aT The Y.W.C.A. on May I6 in honor oT The Girl Reserve moThers and our TaculTy advisers. The Silver Circle will close iTs busy. happy year wiTh a reunion wiTh The old members, and a club Trip.
