WILLIAM WINDSOR The STudenT Council had a very successful year This year. Through The aid of The I-Ti-Y Club, The members of The STudenT Council enforced a very effecfive Traffic sysfem in The halls. Members of The Traffic squad were placed aT Tops and boTToms of sTairs, and aT midsecTions and in The busiesT secfions of The halls during The Three minufes beTween classes. Each Traffic officer wore a small badge so ThaT The sTudenTs would recognize and obey him. Their obiecT is To keep order in The halls and prevenf any congesfion during The change of classes. They also prevenfed sTudenTs from running Through The halls, causing confusion. The Freshmen were aided greafly by This agency. Through The STudenT Council a sysTem of checking The running Through The halls was esfablished. Girls, who were willing and had sfudy periods, were sTaTioned ThroughouT The halls during periods. Anyone leaving a room during The period had To presenT a pass To These girls. Ofherwise he would have To remain in his room. This sysTem, alfhough The firsT Time iTs kind has been Tried, worked ouT very nicely and sfopped The roaming in The halls. The presenT STudenT Council wish ThaT These Two sysTems will be in force for many years To come because never before in The hisTory of The school have The halls been in beTTer order during The passing of classes.
