Orientation Week Freshman Gerrie Pukis is shown on the left as she makes a get-acquainted tour of Stalnaker dorm, her new home at Drake. Gerrie, who hails from Westchester, Illinois, is in the College of Liberal Arts. Like other freshmen, she had a busy schedule during orientation week. No new student had time to miss the familiar home ground with such a busy schedule. In a few short days, the paths of the campus which seemed so puzzling at first, became well traveled ones. Tests were a part of college even before classes began. dorms, longer lines at the dining hall and with orders at the book store. The class of 1962 was well on its way.
